I was at a coffee shop in a very small town in Alabama (US). I saw a Jones Soda and was attracted to the label. This label is of someone with a butterfly on his/her hand. I had never seen such a unique label before, I fell in love with it. I bought the bottle but only to my dismay when I was looking at the label carefully. The butterfly in the persons hand is DEAD and DRIED. If observed closely, you can see that the butterfly doesn't have abdomen, neither legs. WHAT AN AWEFUL PICTURE TO BE PLACED ON THE LABEL!!!!!!

WHEN SENDING YOUR PHOTOS BY MAIL:

When mailing in your photos, include the following:
  • You must send your photos with COMPLETED

photographer release form (76k Adobe Acrobat file or in HTML format) and a model relase form if applicable (70k Adobe Acrobat file or HTML format).

Any photo involving a person (or people) need a model release form from EACH individual in order to be considered.Photos sent without a release form cannot be used. Photographer release forms are kept on file, so you only need to send one - no matter how many photos you send in!
  • A self-addressed and stamped envelope (SASE) that is big enough, with enough postage, so that we may return your photo...without it you may never see your photo again!

What you can expect:

  • If your photo is chosen, you will receive a notification letter within 90 days. We do not send bottles with the label to the photographers (you will have to look for the label in stores near you).
  • Within 60-90 days, submissions that included a SASE will be returned.

IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING PHOTOS ONLINE:

Online submissions must be submitted through the gallery, photos emailed directly to the company will not be accepted. Follow the online instructions to upload your photos.

NOTES FOR ALL PHOTO SUBMISSIONS:

We go through all the photos that ar photos based on the following. If you have any questions, make sure you read the Photo FAQ/Help files

  1. Photos that are technically superb: in focus, clear sharp, detailed ss="bodytext">Submissions that include photo release form.
  2. Photos should be at least 20% wider than tall (Eg. 6"wide X 4"tall). Minimum photo sizes are 2.25" X 1.875"
  3. Photos that fit the unique "Jones attitude" (see a selection on existing labels). If you are submitting photos left and right and are not getting picked, think about your subject, we have all seen dogs, cats and children and while cute we are looking for something different in most cases. Think less animal more funky and unexpected!
  4. Photos submitted to the gallery that have a "Staff Pick" have a very good chance of being picked for a label (if they meet minimum technical requirements). See previously chosen photos label galleries.

If you have any questions that haven't been answered above, you may send your inquiries to photos@jonessoda.com.

If you don't make it on a bottle of Jones Soda or Jones Naturals but still want your photo on a label, remember this: Cash is king! You can buy yourself a customized 12 pack of your very own My Jones soda.
